In the Fall 1999 we met 6 times (Oct 4, 25, Nov 1, 15, 29, and Dec 13) and enjoyed presentations by Paolo, Stefan, Brian, Aude, Barry, Monica, and Chad, and expertly prepared meals by Aude, Stefan, Monica, Brian, and Chad. We plotted how to take over the robotics world by submitting 7 papers to Agents-00, and having none of the rejected. We succeeded!

In the Summer 1999 we met twice (May 26th and July 13th), cleaned up the lab, and worked on the AAAI contest (see our subsequent success here.

In the Fall 1998 we met from September until mid-November, and saw presentations by all Phd and MS. students in the lab. Great ethnic food was prepared by Monica (Rumanian), Dani (Iranian), Brian G. (American), and Aswath (Indian).

In the Summer 1998 we had some unusual meetings. On Jun 8th, we were filmed by Michael Apted's crew from Clear Blue Sky Productions (for the upcoming film Inspirations about scientists), while discussing and consuming chef Göksel's fine meal. On Jul 21 we held a marathon 6-hour lab re-design and clean-up session, with amazing results!

In the Spring 1998 we met monthly (Feb 5, Mar 5, Apr 2, Apr 29), and spent between 2.5 and 3 hours discussing the nitty-gritty of all group members' research projects. The newly-instituted practice of having lab members prepare meals for the group meeting is catching on: we've had chili (Barry, who started the tradition), Indian (Aswath), Persian (Dani), and American (Brian) food. This promises to become a lasting Interaction Lab tradition.

In the Fall 1997 we met monthly, and worked hard on setting up our new lab at USC (including designing a new Interaction Lab logo, and transporting and setting up the various systems). The group grew with several new members, and new projects were initiated.

In the Spring 1997 we met bi-weekly to describe new progress, and discuss newly submitted papers and accepted talks. Aruna gave a presentation of her newly finished Master's thesis, and Francois presented his completed postdoctoral project .

In the Fall 1996 we held weekly meetings (with pizza) in which group members presented their research and discussed it with the Lab.
