Aaron St. Clair portrait

I am a PhD candidate in computer science at University of Southern California's Robotics and Autonomous Systems Center and a member of the Interaction Lab advised by Professor Maja Matarić.

I have been supported by and actively involved in federally sponsored research and am also a recipient of a USC Viterbi School of Engineering fellowship. I received my B.S. in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology in December 2007 and my M.S. from USC in 2015. My PhD degree will be officially conferred in Summer 2015.

I am currently seeing a research-intensive postdoctoral position that will increase my preparedness and competitiveness for a subsequent academic position.

Research

My research is focused on human-robot task collaborations and human-machine teamwork combining aspects of human-robot interaction, service robotics, and machine learning to enable robots to effectively work with, assist, and provide guidance to people.
