WSFTP Tutorial

You will be submitting your source files to a Cal State LA server using WSFTP.  The UserID and Password to access the server is your NIS account.

1.      For the Profile Name, type the host name: neptune.calstatela.edu or another planet.

2.      Type in your NIS UserID and Password

3.      Click OK

4.      Click on the Local System to browse to the location of your source files (eg. D:\).

5.   Select the source files and click on the arrow à to transfer the files.

6.      Click Close after you’re done uploading, otherwise you will get a timeout from the server.

7.      Next time you can click on “Connect” to connect back to the server to submit the next source files.
